Hey All - driving into work the last couple of days, the total lack of traffic jams on the 101 (the main highway up and down Silicon Valley) was a clue that you’re not all quite back to work yet. I hope everyone had a fantastic bit of time off!

I spent a bit of time in Tahoe (went snow boarding for the first time in 8 years…face planted pretty hard on the 4th run…ouch) while Sandy visited her family back east and Elaine spent some time on the beach (and managed to get second degree burns on her legs to boot!). Danny hit up Vancouver while David and Paul shot back to Italy and England, respectively, to see their families and friends. Martin spent time with his family while Natalie visited hers in Hawaii (not bad to be from Hawaii, huh?).

2008’s going to be a seriously busy year for meebo…we’ve got a small release getting queued up for you all that’ll probably push in about a week. We’re also looking forward to adding more neat applications to the meebo platform and to making lots of improvements across the board. We’ll also be concentrating on building the team out further, so if you know anyone who you think would be a great addition to the meebo team, please send them our way!

On a final note, Om Malik, one of the two bloggers who helped launch meebo and a very good friend of mine, had a heart attack over the holidays. He’s a-OK and recovering, and we all wish him the best of luck and health in the new year. Get well quick Om…we need you back!
